Mrs. Janice L. Mullins, 75 of Rockaway Beach, died Monday, January 16, 2017 in Springfield, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. Monday, January 23, 2017 in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home with Pastor Jeramie Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth.

Janice Lee Mullins was born, Sunday, April 13, 1941 in Wilmington, Ohio to Berlin and Juanita Edwards. She attended school in Wilmington and graduated from the Wilmington High School. She then attended Wilmington College where she earned her Associates Degree in Business. She met Don Mullins and they were married December 30, 1960 in Wilmington. The couple moved to Dripping Springs, Texas where Janice worked as food service supervisor for a local nursing home. While vacationing in the Ozarks, they liked the area and upon her retirement in 1993, moved to Rockaway Beach. Don died March 4, 2012.

Janice was the glue that held the family together. She was very energetic, compassionate, and family oriented. She was forgiving, warm hearted and caring. She enjoyed collecting collectible plates, dolls, Disney characters and shopping for her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forsyth.

She is survived by five sons, Brad Mullins of Rockaway Beach, MO, Gregory Mullins, Monty Mullins of Houston, TX, Stacey Mullins and wife, Diana of Merriam Woods, MO, Jeffery Mullins of Rockaway Beach; one daughter, Kathy Coffey and husband, Tim of Seattle, WA; one brother, Herman Edwards and wife, June of Wilmington, OH; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Mullins; grandson, Scott Mullins; two brothers, Jim and John Edwards.
